- Empire BMX Meeting
There will be a very important meeting on May 10 to discuss this years upcoming events. All track affiliates and Team Managers are urged to attend. It will be held at New Paltz Town Hall on Saturday May 10 at 11:00 am. All are welcome.
March 9th 2008
- Empire BMX Meeting
Again because of mother nature being so cooperative with us, the NYS Empire BMX meeting is being rescheduled for Sunday March 30 at 11:00 at the New Paltz Town Hall. Sorry about not being able to schedule the conference call but you will be told when we can find a place that will be able to accommodate us. I know everyone is itchen to go out and race. So whoever is going to the Jack Frost have a great time and good luck! Happy Easter to everyone! And if anyone needs to contact Rose please give her an email at rscolaro@hvc.rr.com. There will be updates coming online shortly.

- Empire BMX Meeting
There will be a Meeting on March 15, at 11:00 am at the New Paltz Town Hall. Unfortunately, we will not be able to schedule a conference call at this meeting. We are looking into doing that at future meetings. We are encouraging Team Managers and at the least track directors to attend. The meeting will consist of this years budget, racing agenda, any new business and going over this years Team agenda. Looking forward to seeing you there.

- Empire BMX Fall 2007 Meeting
The state will be conducting its fall meeting which will be held on November 17th in the Albany area.(see below for the directions) The meeting will start at 11:00am and end at 2:00pm. I encourage all to participate in this meeting and make every attempt to attend. This meeting is very important the eligible votes will be voting for a new commissioner this person will be responsible to over see the state racing series. I truly hope that someone will step up and assume the position and have the creativity that can make the series grow and be fun for the kids/riders.The more that come the better the chances we will have to pick a successor.

- BOARD MEETING
The Board for Empire BMX will be holding a fall meeting on November 18th 2006, the meeting will be conducted at the Hampton Inn in Newburgh NY. It will start at 11:00am and end at approximately 2:00pm all are welcome to attend. Note: All team managers are encouraged to come and participate as there will be a discussion about the current rules and how they may change to encourage rider participation at all the qualifiers.

- HALLOWEEN HAVOC RACE SERIES
There will be a two day open series running in Upstate NY in October. The first race will be on Friday, October 20th at TriCity BMX in Rotterdam. Click here for full details

- In lieu of the inclement weather at the Tri-City Qualifier this past weekend the following will be applied in reference to race # 2, see below for the ruling:
The second race event is rained out:
- Riders registered for both events will receive credit for two races. The first day race results will be used for points, and trophies will be given out according to the first day's finishes.
- Riders registered for the second day's event only may request a refund or take credit for the event without earning any points.
- Riders earning moveup points in the first race will not earn moveup points for the second race since there was no actual race.

Due to the inclement whether on June 3rd and 4th the CNY qualifier was canceled and will be moved to August 26th with a rain date of August 27th.

- New Paltz Qualifier
Due to rain conditions the New Paltz Qualifier was canceled on Sunday the 17th of July, it has been rescheduled for the 13th of August 2005. We will hold two races in one day, the race times will remain the same. On Friday the 12th of August New Paltz will be holding its Bob Warnicke Quadruple point race.

- Website
After a tough battle with our Registrar, the domain name has been returned to service. The website was not affected but rather the domain name itself was rendered inoperable by the Registrar, which is the company that registers the domain name (nybmx.org) and tells the world where to find it.

- Discussion Forums
We have added a Bulletin Board System to the site. Notice above on the Menu Bar there is a new link labeled "Board". This will lead you to the forums where you can discuss many different topics, post or read about the various tracks, share experiences with others and much more. Try it out and please give us feedback. If there is a subject you would like to add, let us know.

- Long Island National
Shoreham BMX will be hosting a NBL National, The Long Island National June 11th and 12th all that are interested in experiencing a different level of Competition for the first time as well as all that riders that ride the national circuit should plan to attend for a fun and competitive weekend and experience the hospitality that the people from Shoreham BMX will extend to all their riders.

- 2004 Presidents Cup
Congratulations to all the riders that participated in the 2004 Presidents Cup race in sunny Florida, the team although small did a fabulous job and represented there state well they finished 9th overall moving the state up 5 positions from the 2003 overall finish. GREAT JOB. The 2005 President's Cup race will be held in the state of Ohio in 2005, all riders both young and old that partake in the N.Y. state series and Qualify to represent the great state of New York at the Presidents Cup are encouraged to attend and experience the race of a lifetime.
- 2005 North East Regional
CNY will be hosting a North East Qualifier in the 2005 season. All that ride the North East Regional series should plan to attend for a fun and exciting weekend.
